Budding Ghanaian star, Fameye, has released a new jam to showcase his immense respect for "ailing" Ghanaian musical legend, Okomfour Kwadee.

The song comes after it was confirmed that Okomfour Kwadee has suffered a relapse of his terrible mental illness.

Fameye explained that his song is not a feature, rather it is a musical piece that acknowledges Kwadee's success in the music industry. In the song, Fameye expressed his gratitude to the veteran for how he constantly inspired his music over the years.

He told the Ghana News Agency that he and his other colleagues are working steadfastly undercover to see how Kwadee's current situation can be helped

"Okomfour Kwaadee has been an inspiration in my music career and that's why I did the song to honor him. We need to celebrate his life because he has contributed immensely to the growth of Ghana's music.

"I have heard he is facing some difficulties in life and we are working behind the scenes to see how we can help him," he said.

Okomfour Kwadee has been known to be struggling with mental challenges that landed him at a rehab center. A viral photo of him surfaced on the internet, this made the music community to see the full range of the difficulties that he has been going through.

Plans are now underway to get support to him.
