Ghanaian actress, Benedicta Gafah has shed more light on the events that transpired between her and the alleged husband.

According to her, she has never been married to any man, contrary to the reports that she was hitched to her American sweetheart recognized as Kwaku. She narrated the events of the unfortunate relationship on Kingdom TV while responding to the claims that she was once married.

The actress explained that she was planning to marry him, up until the point where she discovered that he was not the man he said he was. She stated that the misconception of her being once married started when 'Kwaku' begun going around to tell people they were married.

In her own words, he deceived the public as much as he deceived her for about two years. She recalled how they had been buying things to get married when her own family started to warn her about his trickery.

She stated that she did not listen to her family members initially because she thought they were just being haters until his genuine spouse called to inform her that she was legitimately married to him with three kids and even included photographs as proof.

She confessed that it was at that point she told him it was over between them.

Gafah started her career as an actress in 2010. She is the founder of Benedicta Gafah Needy Foundation. She became a co-host on TV3's music music in 2019 and has featured in more than 50 Ghallywood and Kumawood movies.

Benedicta started giving alms to the needy and widows of King Jesus Orphanage Home in 2014. She took it to the streets to share foodstuffs, clothes, etc. every December to the street kids. She currently runs the Gafah Foundation to help the needy.
