De Bruyne and Mane share Player of the season and PFA Fans' Player of the Year award

The pair were on top of performances and decided the outcome of games for their respective clubs.

Sadio Mane has won the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Fans' Player of the Year award.

Senegalese beat Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne after a fascinating season for Liverpool.

 

 

Mane scored 18 goals in the 2019/20 Premier League campaign in 34 appearances for the Merseyside giants to facilitate in the Reds first Premier League trophy in three decades.

The 28-year-old joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 and has contributed to Jurgen Klopp’s men's success, winning the Premier League this season, Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup last season.

The winger has scored 84 Premier League goals in 194 features. He has provided 29 assists and was joint Golden Boot winner last year with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and fellow mate, Mohamed Salah.

Elsewhere in the same League, Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne beat Sadio Mane for the player of the season accolade after an impressive 20 assists and 13 strikes.

 

 

Trent Arnold Alexander, Jordan Henderson, Danny Ings, Nick Pope, and Jamie Vardy were in the nomination for the award.

Jurgen Klopp was earlier presented with the Manager of the Season award as his player, Trent Arnold Alexander was named the Young Player of the season.

Spurs Son’s goal was voted the Goal of the season with Jamie Vardy taking home the Golden Boot Award with 23 goals.
