COVID-19: Nigeria Records 131 Fresh Cases, Total Now 56,735
56735 cases have been confirmed, 48092 cases have been discharged and 1093 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Nigeria has recorded 131 fresh cases of the COVID-19, bringing the nation's total infections to 56,735.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), disclosed this on its twitter handle on Thursday.
NCDC tweeted: "On the 17th of September 2020, 131 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
"Till date, 56735 cases have been confirmed, 48092 cases have been discharged and 1093 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 131 new cases are reported from 18 states- Lagos recorded 45, Kaduna and Plateau 17, while the FCT recorded 16.
Other affected states were Delta and Niger with six each, Kwara with five, Oyo with three, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ekiti, Enugu, Osun, and Sokoto with two each, while Bauchi, Ebonyi, Katsina, and Rivers have one each.
