Wiyaala responds to critics, saying, "I will wear whatever I like at the beach, river, or pool"

A young woman shared images of herself having a good time at the beach with pals on social media, but it seems that Wiyaala, a musician from Ghana, offended some internet users.

Wiyaala responds to critics, saying, "I will wear whatever I like at the beach, river, or pool"

Their disagreement? The popularly referred to as the "lioness of Africa," Wiyaala, proudly displayed a figure that some critics believe is unfit for such a garment in a bikini at the beach. More significantly, though, Wiyaala released the photo for the public to see.

Wiyaala received a lot of backlash on social media for more than 48 hours after boldly showcasing her figure in a bikini, but she isn't too concerned about what other people think of her physique.

In a Facebook post, she warned her critics not to try her since she is obliged to wear whatever she deems fit at the beach, river or pool.

She wrote: “I will wear whatever I like at the beach, river or pool. Don’t try me. Don’t even dare me”.

Once more, her post descended into teasing in the comments section, with proponents and opponents vehemently voicing their disagreements.

Wiyaala's detractors claim that she has effectively developed a brand that honors the culture of the people from the North, where she is originally from.

Because of this, it was inconsistent with her stated beliefs for her to have a picture of herself at the beach in a bikini displayed in public.

She owes no one an explanation for her wardrobe choices, even from her admirers.

In the words of Beatrice Atipoka, “That's all my favorite. People sometimes just want to dictate everyone without any reason. No one wears jeans to the beach. People need to mind their businesses(sic)”.
