The Chief of Kyekyewere, a suburb of the Ayensuano District in the Eastern Region, Okunini Nana Kwame Gyebi has vowed to battle face to face with land guards in his community to help protect the interest of his people.

The Chief of Kyekyewere, a suburb of the Ayensuano District in the Eastern Region, Okunini Nana Kwame Gyebi has vowed to battle face to face with land guards in his community to help protect the interest of his people.

He angrily expressed worry over how land guards have been threatening the residents of Kyekyewere, describing the situation as bad.


Explaining further,  the Chief stressed how these land guards carry guns, matchets, and knives to harm his people, creating fear and panic in the Community. A situation he has vowed not to tolerate in his community. 

“I have already had a series of meetings with the security agencies in the district to enforce the laws of these land guards with their illegal activities”, he added. 

On the other hand, the chief said he has plans to build an ultra-modern market in the community to uplift businesses.
He will also ensure education gets the needed support it deserves in the community.
