The Leader of the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) in parliament, Honorable Haruna Iddrisu has said that, upon a conclave meeting with the speaker of parliament on who to sit at the Left or right side in parliament,  he and members of the National Democratic caucus have accepted to sit on the left-hand side of the house.

According to the Tamale South MP, what happened during the inauguration of the 8th parliament did not please many and therefore, in the interest of peace and ensuring that parliament functions effectively to serve the needs of the Ghanaian people,  the NDC will have no difficulty at which side they will have to sit.
