Vote For Grassroot Candidate Who Is Capable To Win Awutu Senya East Parliamentary Seat For NDC In 2024 Polls-Dina Tetteh Urges NDC Delegates
The potential parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, Mrs Dina Tetteh, has believed that she is the only best candidate who is capable to lead the party front into the 2024 general elections to wrestle the parliamentary constituency seat from New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking in an interview with an Accra-based Power FM monitored by Soireenews.com, Mrs. Tetteh called on the delegates and members of the NDC in the constituency to vote for her to become the parliamentary candidate for the party come Saturday May 13, 2023.
Mrs. Tetteh, a-two term Assembly Member for the Adam Nana Electoral Area, an insurance underwriter and a trade unionist spanning a decade with educational background in social sciences from the University of Cape Coast stressed that winning the seat in the general elections in 2024 requires a solid person that has the ability and capacity to win the seat.

She further stressed that her track records and achievements had put her ahead of all the other competitors in the NDC party’s parliamentary race in the constituency.
“Her track records as a leading member and ward executive of the NDC and other positions she had occupied in the area made the delegates, members and supporters of the NDC trusted her to contest the race.
"I am a self-motivated, organized person and a team player. Outstanding communicator with motivation to provide excellent work and a customer service. I am a woman of integrity, and  lam candidate who the grassroots of the NDC and people in Awutu Senya East constituency need now.

I am also a best person who can take us [Awutu Senya East Constituents] out of this economic quagmire,"  Mrs. Dina Tetteh.”
“The grassroots know my calibre and know my capabilities and once l get the nod, l will would lobby the government to bring the needed social and infrastructure developmental projects and programmes the constituents are crying for to change their economic forttunes of the area,” Mrs.Tetteh further stressed.
She added that she is a known grassroot person who knows the problems and challenges facing the people in the constituency.
Following this development, the female NDC parliamentary hopeful stressed that it is a high time for the delegates to endorse someone like her, Dina Tetteh who has expertise and competence to bring past and present Constituency Executives, Aspirants and all Branch Executives together to win the 2024 polls.
She maintained that she is confident of winning the NDC parliamentary election and subsequently win the parliamentary seat for the party to help lobby to prioritise the welfare and livelihoods of youths, residents, members, supporters, sympathisers, well-wishers and faithful of the party in the constituency.
She stated that the delegates and members of the NDC in the area to be mindful that they would do harm to the NDC in the 2024 general elections if they voted for a candidate who is not a grassroot politician who is familiar with their problems.
He stated that; "Generally l didn't know why the delegates and members of the party in the Awutu Senya East Constituency wanted to vote for someone who is not staying in the constituency to lead the our great party. Because  majorities of the  parliamentary candidates who are currently vying for the NDC parliamentary position do not even leave with us in the constituency."
"These desperate politicians don't not even understand the dynamic of the people in the constituency. Seriously when these politicians who were not grassroot personalities were given the nod to win the primaries to the lead NDC, you should remembered that when they came, they started bringing confusions and divisions within the party.
"Some of these non grassroots politicians also think wisely that the NDC parliamentary candidate position in the Awutu Senya East Constituency has become a complete vacate that is why they are struggling to come and occupied it. This a bad movement.
"I am saying that it is time for us to stop this old aged practices or trends. These trends must be changed now in our constituency," Mrs. Tetteh noted, citing what has happened in the NDC front in the constituency of the 2020 general elections to support her claimed.
For instance, in the year 2020 general elections, she indicated that as an Assembly woman who doubles as a branch executive of the NDC, we have declared operation win your ward.
She pointed that "we did everything we have to do as grassroot youths of the NDC, but we couldn't not win the Awutu Senya East parliamentary seat from the NPP Member of Parliament (MP), Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson."
"Critically, when l looked about what has really happened to affect our chances of winning the seat for the NDC in the 2020 general elections, compounded with things that l learned from the ongoing issues as an Assembly woman in  the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly.
"So when l sat down and analysed the situation and realized that our developmental issues haven't been solved although we have a sitting NPP MP in the person of Mavis Hawa Koomson who represents us in Parliament for three terms, l thought it is now the time to wake up and declare my intention to contest the NDC parliamentary primaries to win the race and work hard to wrestle the seat from NPP to bring the needed development to the area to safeguard the lives of the constituents," he noted.
She reaffirmed that; "'I am a grassroot personality who was born and bred in the area, so l have a general feeling for the numerous financial problems facing the constituents since l am still staying with them and knew their problems.
She noted that has, the rationale behind her intention to run for Parliament is because she wants an opportunity to serve her people.
She maintained that the delegates and  members of the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency must give her the mandate because she is a servant leader.
Mrs Tetteh promised to serve diligently to work with all persons irrespective of one’s status because she believes in team work.
She says she is a dignified candidate, whose love and service to the umbrella fraternity has never been in doubt.
“I’m inherently humane, service oriented, execution driven, trade unionist, resourceful, versatile and above all enabler,” she added.
