There are reported cases of violent clashes between officers of the Nigeria Police Force and operators of Keke Marwa and Okada over their ban from operating in some parts of Lagos. 

Ijora, Ketu, Oshodi, Mile 2, Mile 12, Apapa are some of the areas where there have been reported cases of violence.

Sporadic gunshots have been taking place as policemen could be seeing using live ammunition on the protesters who have erected bonfires on the road disrupting vehicular movement. 

At least 3 People have been reported shot with many scampering in different directions for safety.

Recall that the Lagos State Government has placed a ban on the operation of Motorcycles and Tricycles popularly called Okadas and Keke Marwas on some major roads and bridges in and around the Lagos metropolis, and the association of Okada Riders, Lagos branch are has vowed that Danfo and other means of transportation in Lagos can not work also.

As is the custom when things like this happen, it is very likely to turn violent and the police who are known to be trigger happy has been placed on red alert.

So, stay away from the flash points, change route if you see them around and desist from unnecessary movements.

In fact, if it is possible, go back home.
