Two Players Get Approval To Play For Ghana Black Stars

The Ghana football association has signed approval letters for two players to play for the Black Star team.

The Ghana Football Association has taken steps that the senior national do well at this tournament. It was shown during the excellent display during the world cup playoffs. Nonetheless, a lot more needs to be done to be sure of the team’s preparedness for such a competitive stage.

The good news that is coming indicates that Inaki and Nico Williams have received approval from their parents to play for the Blacks Stars. Nico and Inaki are Spanish-born players who are currently playing in the Spanish La Liga. Williams has played for the Spanish national team in a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Last year, he indicated his skepticism about playing for Ghana. He said it will be unfair for him to take the place of others who are 100% Ghanaians. For whatever reason, perhaps the qualification to the world cup has made these brothers motivated to play for where their parents come from. When these players can join the team, in addition to others, the team will be solid.

It is highly perceived that the Black Stars of Ghana will do well at the world cup finals in Qatar later this year. But that feat will not come just as easy as a wish. It will take time, preparation, commitment, good management, and excellent technical abilities, just to name a few. Many football teams who have achieved greater feats didn’t do it by accident, a lot went into it.

The Black Stars are hoping to build a solid team and hopefully, they will do well in Qatar.
