Ghanaian gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, has finally revealed that she almost left her husband because of comments that he passed about other women in her presence.

The multiple award-winning gospel musician who just got back from her "break" after being away from the public scene for months explained that she started having many negative thoughts anytime her husband would make such comments pointing the last straw that almost broke the camel's back. 

Flashing back events, she disclosed that her husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo passed a comment about her costume lady when they were about leaving for a program and that really hit her.

Divorce plans were already underway because she could not just handle the negative thoughts that flooded her head at that moment, per the veteran worshipper's report while speaking in an exclusive interview on Power FM.

She told the interviewer on live radio that it would have been the best thing for her to peacefully walk out of the marriage before she did something that she would eventually come to regret.

The celebrated gospel artiste however said that she took to fervent prayers when that negative thought of divorce kept coming like "water flowing from a hill".

“Prayer answers everything and I believe this is what has helped us so far. Although we fight we are able to resolve our differences,” she said.

She concluded that the negative thoughts came due to her own insecurities because her lovely husband has been very supportive of her through thick and thin. She advised women to keep praying for their husbands and to learn to trust and support them even though they start having bad intentions like divorce.
