The hollow promises are too much, so I won't be voting this year, says Akwaboah

According to Akwaboah, there is no reason for him to stand in line to cast his ballot in the election on December 7.

The hollow promises are too much, so I won't be voting this year, says Akwaboah

This occurs following a speech given by Mr. Bawumiah, the vice president of Ghana, to the populace of Ghana, outlining his vision for the country should he be granted the presidency.

The vice president declared that if he was approved, he would see to it that the nation's advancement and the welfare of its citizens become promises he wished to honor.

In response, Akwaboah stated that he is not amused by the vice president's remarks since they are meaningless.

He claimed that the vice president's and the other contenders' hollow promises included those made by former president John Mahama.

According to Akwaboah, he did not cast a ballot in the general election of 2020 and does not anticipate doing so this year.

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, during the midmorning show Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra 100.5 FM, which Ghbase.com was watching, Akwaboah made this statement.

The hitmaker of "Obiaa" declared that he has had enough of the lies that are attached to the term politics.

Akwaboah claims that politicians in Ghana drive fancy cars in an attempt to get the thumbprints of Ghanaians, but once they get the go-ahead, instead of shining the light so that everyone can see the path to a prosperous life, they hide it under a bushel and take pleasure in watching their people slip into darkness.

"We've heard these assurances countless times. It's not only him. Anyone who aspires to political office makes similar claims, thinking that doing so will attract the necessary attention from the creative arts community, the speaker stated.
