Suhum MCE Lands In Fresh Trouble For Attacking Integrity The Flagbearer Of the NDC
MUNICIPAL Chief Executive (MCE) for Suhum Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region, Madam Margaret Darko has landed herself into a fresh trouble for wrongly attacking integrity of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama.

The NDC Communication Bureau of the Suhum Constituency in a statement copied to Soireenews com rebuttal what it describes as
unfounded claims the Suhum MCE against the flagbearer of the NDC.
According to the party, its attention has been gravely drawn to a distressing video circulating across social media platforms, featuring the Municipal Chief Executive of Suhum, leveling baseless allegations and propagating unfounded theories regarding the untimely demise of President Professor John Evans Fifii Atta Mills.
In the said video, the NDC noted that the MCE irresponsibly implicates His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the esteemed flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former President of the Republic, in the tragic passing of Professor Mills. Such claims are not only utterly false but also lack any substantiated evidence, reflecting a reckless disregard for truth and decency.
The NDC Communication Bureau unequivocally condemned these egregious statements and calls upon the appropriate authorities to invite this reckless MCE for investigation.
The NDC urged law enforcement agencies to take necessary action and hold the MCE accountable for her inflammatory remarks, which have the potential to sow seeds of discord and undermine the fabric of our democracy.
"It is regrettable that instead of focusing on her primary duties as the president's representative in the municipality, the MCE has chosen to engage in divisive rhetoric and personal attacks.
"We remind her that the development of Suhum Municipal should be her utmost priority, not reckless politicking,' the NDC told Suhum MCE
The party called upon the MCE to help address pressing issues such as reckless borrowing, rampant corruption scandals, and the harrasive tax regime imposed by the current government, which have inflicted undue hardship on the Ghanaian populace.
The party noted with concern the internal strife within the Suhum NPP, exemplified by the emergence of independent contenders.
According to the NDC, It is imperative for the MCE to foster unity within her own party ranks rather than resorting to smear tactics against political opponents.
The NDC reiterated its commitment to the principles of truth, integrity, and unity, noted that "Let us set aside reckless politicking and work together towards the collective prosperity of our beloved homeland, Ghana."
