Doctors report that the health system is on the verge of collapse as the situation for trapped citizens in the city continues to deteriorate.

Sudan's RSF accuses army of bombing old presidential palace

The Sudanese Armed Forces are allegedly responsible for attacks targeting the nation's historic presidential palace in Khartoum, according to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Although city dwellers claimed that the region had been heavily bombed, the army has refuted the RSF's assertion that the palace had been destroyed.

The paramilitaries promised a forceful response.

The current location, which was inaugurated in January 2015, is next to the historic Republican Palace, which is situated along the Blue Nile River.

There is little indication that the peace negotiations between the two warring sides in Saudi Arabia are making any headway.
