Self acclaimed Evangelist arrested with human parts

A 45-year-old self-acclaimed Evangelist with the name Elijah resides at Boku Nkwanta in the Wenchi municipality of the Bono Region and has been caught with human parts.

Honorable Mustafa Musah, the assemblyman for the area confirmed to our correspondent Nana Anfreh Damanata.

Confirming the incident he said it was one senior security officer who works with one of the quarry's company within the area who were suspicious of the movement and alerted him (Assembly Member).

"Upon hearing the information I hurriedly informed elders of the community and proceeds to the scene,e," the assemblyman said.

He further explained that when they get to the scene they saw human parts surrounding the place so we made the suspect open his door and bring human parts in a bag from the room.

When questioned about how the human parts came to be the suspect denied knowledge of the human parts and could not tell us how he got them from Mr. Musah added.

Furthermore, he said he called the nearest police station stationed at Chiraa in the Sunyani West district of the Bono Region and they came to the scene to arrest the suspect.

He disclosed that the self-acclaimed Evangelist who lives in an isolated building on the outskirts of the town came to preach at Boku.

 A 23-year-old senior high school graduate Faisal a wee smoker who normally goes and smokes weed with the self-acclaimed Evangelist was later arrested to assist the police in investigations the assemblyman narrated.

Honorable Mustafa Musah again said a search conducted by the police from the suspect room found a set of cutlasses, scissors, machetes, and other deadly weapons.

Finally, he said another search by residents of Boku Nkwanta cemetery also found that a tomb has been broken and exhumed the body.

Police do not comment on the matter as of when the report is filed
