The Assembly Member for Sefwi Surano Electoral Area in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, Honourable Mathew Obiri Adjarko, has released list of his top achievements in the social and infrastructure developments since becoming an Assembly member in the area.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.
com, Honourable Adjarko highlighted some of his achievements in the areas of health, youth employment, road, education, social welfare, sporting activities, water, sanitation, hygiene, security and among others.
 
He mentioned when he was elected Assembly member, he has ensured the lobbying of the constructions of water borehole facilities,the  roads, Sefwi Surano community durbar centre, Sefwi Surano football park, demarcated street roads within the area.
 
Additionally, the workaholic assembly member noted that he has personally registered residents, particularly the elderly people onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
 
He mentioned that he has facilated the move for the youths to get  employment in Chirano Gold Mine Ghana in Sefwi Bekwai, played an instrumental role for some youths to be recruited into the national security agencies.
 
"I am also on the top of fighting human security in the area by way of providing streetlight bombs to be fixed in the various streets within his area of jurisdiction," he disclosed.
 
He said he helped some to gain admission into the school of hygiene, lobbied the government to bring and implement the needed developmental projects, helped some Persons with Disabilities (PDWs) to enroll into the school for the Deaf.
Honourable Adjarko who is seeking for reelection is determined and poised to bring the needed social and infrastructure projects and programmes to his electoral area.
 
He assured that when given the nod in the upcoming District Assembly elections slated for November 2023, his outfit would continue to positively lobbying for the developmental projects within his catchment area as an Assembly Member.
 
Honourable Adjarko made this known to Soireenews.com when he won the internal contest to select a suitable candidate to represent the NDC in the pending local government elections in the area.
The assembly election that is gradually gathering momentum has got candidates present their manifestos on different platforms promising their stake in the development of the nation at different levels.
The Soireenews.com caught up with with Mr Adjarko and had an extensive interview with him on a wide range of issues.
 
He pledged to serve the people of his area of jurisdiction, adding that "l am ready to continue to serve my people."
Amidst the economic situation of the constituency, the workaholic assembly member has declared his intention to support the electorates when he is given the nod to retain the Assembly seat in November.
He made this known to Soireenews.com when he won the internal contest to select a suitable candidate to represent the NDC in the pending local government elections in the area.
As part of the job, he promised to secure employment opportunities for the electorates.
‘‘We have mine at Akoti, but we are lagging behind development. I will ensure I secure employment opportunities for the electorates in my next term," the incumbent assured.
The incumbent Assembly member has decried the lack of public toilet, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) centre and public market in the area and has promised to fix these problems if the electorates renew his mandate to retain the position.
 
He stressed that if voted massively for him to be re-elected, he would continue to ensure that the community benefits from access roads, good drainage system and help resolve other challenges facing the youths in the area.
He said, he would lobby for an ICT learning centre for the community, to enable the youth to have access during vacation and serve as a research point and draw them away from social vices.
