A Muslim Non-Profit, Charity Organization based in the Islamic State of Kuwait, Rahman Foundation Ghana has presented food items to Muslims to support them go through this years Ramadan successfully.

The food items donated included bags of rice and oil and covered Non-Muslims also.

In addressing the gathering, Northern Regional Minister Honourable Alhaji Shani Alhassan Shaibu thanked Rahman Foundation and the government of Kuwait for the support and urged them to continue to touch many lives especially the vulnerable, orphans, widows, students and the less privileged in society.

Honourable Shani expressed the need for peaceful co-existence amongst Muslims and non-Muslims in the Region and Ghana at large.

As part of the social responsibilities of the foundation, they care for Orphans, support the poor with fund and assist the poor and needy.

The foundation also invests in the educational sector by giving good schools and textbooks that guaranteed the best quality of education in the country from Kindergarten (KG) to Junior High.

According to the leadership of the foundation, they have built 500 mosques for Muslims across the world and pledged to do more in the Northern Region.

The beneficiaries, both Muslims and non- Muslims including students were happy for the kind gesture and prayed to Allah for guidance in the philanthropic investments.

The foundation also handed over two brand new TOYOYA HILUX pickups to the regional NADMO secretariat to assist in carrying out their daily duties effectively.
