Psche yourself for adultery in your marriage, according to Empress Gifty

According to Ghanaian gospel singer Empress Gifty, cheating is common in marriage, so partners should prepare themselves to deal with sadness.

The Aseda hitmaker noted that cheating is a part of marriage and people should accept it to save themselves from heartache in a recent interview with Accra FM, as reported by myjoyonline.com.

If you are a married man or woman, I can only state that infidelity is a normal part of marriage, Gifty said.

If you don't keep that in mind, it will drive you insane when it does. Don't think of your spouse as the Holy Ghost, you see. You shouldn't think of your partner as [Hail] Mary. No. Recognize your companion as a fellow human being. Consider getting a divorce the same way you considered getting married, she continued.

She stated that if you prepare your mind for such incidents, it is simpler to forgive your partner.

If you perceive it as their weakness, you are able to pardon. Because the marriage won't last if you don't appreciate their flaws, she continued.

Empress Gifty's first marriage to Prophet Elisha Osei terminated in 2014, and she later wed Hopeson Adorye of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The couple exchanged vows on December 28, 2019.

She claimed that some gospel artists and bloggers were responsible for her divorce.

Some of the gospel musicians in whom I trusted went after me and tried to destroy me. Through various phone numbers, these people would give my ex-husband erroneous information. These were individuals who not only had the worst relationships but also set out to destroy my union, she remarked at the time.

Empress Gifty and Hopeson Adorye have consistently declared their undying affection for one another in public, especially on social media.

Hopeson Adorye reaffirmed his love for the gospel singer on her birthday the previous year, saying, "You are my last stop and I adore you the way you are."
