Pep still confident of LEAGUE win despite eight-point gap.

Pep Guardiola has still not admitted of losing the Premier League crown to run away leaders, Liverpool.

According to the manager of the City, it is too early to admit that Liverpool will win the League with ‘lot of games to go.’

A determined Wolves side at the Etihad Stadium beat Manchester City on Sunday afternoon after a lack of rhythm by Pep's side.

 Adama Traoré scored two in the 80th and additional time to freshen his goal scoring rate in the League. He hadn’t scored in his last 32 Premier League games before netting twice against Man City, last scoring against West Ham in September 2018.

 

 

Liverpool are yet to lose a Premier League game this season after winning their eighth yesterday against in-form Leicester City by 2-1 at Anfield. They head into the International break as comfortable leaders of the league.

"It was a bad day. That sometimes happens. We started quite well and then we conceded two situations with two loose balls in our build-up - we got a little bit nervous,” Pep said after the game.
"That sometimes happens (players getting nervous). There’s a lot of games to go. We lost to a good team. They’re physical and strong in the air and fast on the counter attack and that's why."
