The founder of 'Nyame Ne Hene Prayer Camp', Pastor Addo Gyimah has been remanded for indecent assault and unnatural carnal knowledge by the Koforidua Magistrate Court B, to reappear on April 23, 2021.

The fact of the case presented by Chief Inspector Hayford Osei stated that in August 2020, the 20-year-old complainant (name withheld) who is an apprentice at Akyem Awenade started church service in the accused Person’s church, ‘Nyame Ne Hene’ Prayer centre at Akyem Manso.

Per the prosecutor according to the charge sheet, on October 13, 2020, at about 4:30 am, after an All-Night service, the accused person (Addo Gyimah) told the complainant that her chronic illness has been caused by demons, and it required divine intervention through special ritual cleansing. He, therefore, asked the victim to come home for some concoction to cleanse herself.

When the complainant went to the house of the pastor, she was told to lie down for him to wash her vagina with holy water and anointing oil, but the complainant rejected the suggestion and rather pleased with the accused to give the items to her to perform the necessary direction herself when she arrives home.

However, Pastor Gyimah insisted and convinced the complainant to comply for her own good, and then obliged the pastor's request.

In the process of the exorcism to deliver the victim from devil possessions, the pastor allegedly forced the 20-year lady and had anal sex with her. which led to her admission to the hospital after several days of rectal bleeding.

After the satanic act by this "man of God", the Pastor threatened the victim to choose from madness and death, should she dare to inform anybody of her ordeal.

According to Chief Inspector Osei, the victim did not disclose it to anyone, until she began experiencing Rectal bleeding (hematochezia), and immediately confined to the husband of her sister, who counselled her to lodge a formal complaint at the Police station.

The prosecutor lamented, that on October 15, 2020, the case was reported to Police and a medical form was issued to the victim for medical examination and treatment, after which the medical report revealed that, pastor Addo Gyimah, assaulted the victim through unnatural Canal knowledge, which led to his arrest and his remand.

He will reappear before Koforidua Magistrate court B on April 23, 2021, for the hearing to be continued.
