Ozil hits out at Piers Morgan's comment on social media
Mesut Ozil earlier revealed his frustrations behind Arsenal’s decision to leave him out from their Premier League squad.
Mesut Ozil has smacked Piers Morgan on social media for his ill comments towards him.
The German’s comment came when the English broadcaster criticized him after captioning a photo of himself having the backing of fans for the Gunner’s sidelining him from the 25-man Premier League squad for the first half of the 2020/21 season.
Although Ozil, who receives £350,000-per-week at the Emirates has since been silence on the matter, yet Arsenal’s struggles have worsened on the field of play calling for the playmaker to be freed to be part of the team.
The World Cup winner captioned a photo of him in front of fans at the Emirates: “The feeling of having fans behind you… #grateful #bestfans #hardtimes.”

“Real Arsenal fans aren’t behind you. You’re our Paul Pogba – massively overpaid, massively under-performing & shockingly overinflated sense of your own importance. Truth,” He replied to Ozil’s tweet.
