THE FUNCTIONAL Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has established a Special Committee to deal with the unfortunate incident that occurred at its Greater Accra Regional Office during the vetting of aspirants for the Odododiodio Constituency parliamentary primary of the party. 
 
The Special Committee which was chaired by Former Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Rt. Honourable Edward Doe Adjaho comprises of Dr. Samuel Sarpong- National Vice Chairman of NDC, Mr. George Loh- Deputy, Director Legal of NDC, Obuobia Darko-Opoku, Deputy Director of Communications of NDC and Mr  Peter Lanchene Toobu, MP for Wa West Constituency.
In a statement signed and issued by the General Secretary of the NDC, Honourable Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and copied to Soireenews.com, the party noted that it has referred vandalism at its Greater Accra Regional office to a Special Committee after its regular meeting on Tuesday October 17, 2023 for which the FEC of the NDC has discussed the unfortunate incident.
The statement asserted that after extensive deliberations, FEC referred the violence that occurred and an appeal process that has been filed in respect of the eligibility of one of the aspirants, to a Special Committee to investigate and make appropriate recommendations. 
In the meantime, the statement noted that all processes relative to the party’s parliamentary primary in the Odododiodio Constituency have been put on hold pending the outcome of investigations by the Special Committee.
