NPP internal elections brouhaha: Jaman concern party youth calls for immediate intervention 

A group of NPP party members in the Jaman South Constituency calling themselves the Concern NPP Members in the Bono Region has called on the Party's National Executive Committee (NEC) to come down to intervene in the Jaman South Constituency's ongoing polling station and constituency executive elections before it's too late.

Soireenews correspondent speaking to the convenor and the communication team member of the group, Mr. Maxwell Ansah who also doubles as a polling station chairman said, the NPP national executive committee should make sure the party's constitution is applied to conduct the Jaman South Constituency elections.

according to him, the Bono regional Chairman Abronye Kwame Baffo has stated categorically that, anyone who campaigns against the NPP party candidate or supported the skirt and blouse agenda during the 2020 general elections is automatically forfeited his or her membership and does not qualify to contest any position in the party.

But he is alleging that, said the election committee has allowed those who supported skirt and blouse votes to pick forms whiles they don't qualify.

He cautioned that, if the party's National Executive members fail to do anything about it, the skirt and blouse votes will continue in the Jaman South and if nothing is done to those party members who lead in that crusade of skirt and blouse votes, then over twenty-two thousand people who voted for Nana Akuffo Addo and then a candidate for NPP party will advise themselves come 2024 elections.

Mr. Maxwell Ansah again alleged that those people who campaigned skirt and blouse votes have found their way through to get fake party LD cards which they used to pick forms to contest in the ongoing elections.

He said the concerned Party Members are calling on the National Executive Committee (NEC) to get into this matter before it's too late because the skirt and blouse votes agenda will gain roots in the constituency.
