A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United States of America (USA), Mr. Owusu Afriyie has described the upcoming NPP's super delegate conference and subsequent presidential primaries as the future of the country and the party.
Against this backdrop, he stressed the need of the delegates and members of the NPP who would voting to vote for the right leader to ensure the success of the country.
He said the upcoming delegates' election is crucial and one of the most important in the history of NPP.
This, according to him is because the candidate that will be chosen will determine the prospects of Ghana and the New Patriotic Party hence delegates must not follow the money being enticed with but must vote for a presentable candidate who can lead the party to triumph.
Mr. Owusu Afriyie speaking in an interview with journalists indicated that at this crucial moment, Ghana doesn't need only a candidate but a leader who has experience in politics, who can transform Ghana and a governance expert hence delegates must vote devoid of monetization to ensure the success of the country is considered.
Mr. Owusu Afriyie stated that Ghana needs a massive transformation and so this is the time the NPP chose someone who can Break the eight, create more employment and enhance technology
This is because a country with good leaders always thrives therefore choosing the right leader will enhance the fortunes of the Party and Ghana at large.
