Sadiq Abu has defended Yaw Tog against the unnecessary media witch hunt.

The witch hunt had started after the award-winning Young artiste had said on the New Day show on TV3 with MzGe that his collaboration with U.K's Stormzy on his 'Sore' remix was also beneficial to Stormzy because some people who didn't know him in Ghana before, now know his name.

The media, and most particularly, Joy FM’s  Sammy Forson, chastised the fast-rising artiste for his arrogance and selfishness.

According to Sammy Forson, Yaw Tog was very arrogant to think that he had done anything for Stormzy in the collaboration.

He even went as far as to label Yaw Tog's comment as "loose talk".

"Yaw Tog's comments about making Stomzy popular in GH are the kind that unfortunately encourages selfish behavior in the industry.. If u know what it takes to be a mainstream artist in the UK and play listed into other parts of europe, u won't loose talk.. Smh.. Focus on ur music" he said.

Sadiq Abu has now labelled Sammy Forson's comment as unnecessary.

He maintained that the boy made a harmless comment and it is the media that has made the comment look harmful.

The CEO of 3Media hinted that it seems as if the media are looking for a way to throw Yaw Tog under the bus because of his recent success.

Of all the commentary on Yaw Tog’s recent comments. This was the most shocking. What’s the rush to throw the young act under the bus? What’s this attempt to “police” his speech and commentary."

"Look at the unfair spin he puts to it as well. I watched the video, nothing wrong with Tog’s commentary. Quite clearly, the intent behind his commentary was harmless. On this comment, leave the young act alone," he maintained.
