Nigerians who share'school sex tapes' face a 14-year prison sentence.

After a video allegedly involving students went viral, Nigerians were informed that sharing photos of child pornography is a crime punishable by a 14-year prison sentence.

The alleged incident was captured as students from a top school were on a trip to Dubai last month.

A 10-year-mother old's claims her daughter was forced to participate.

The Lagos state government has ordered the school's closure to investigate an "alleged sexual violence case."

The mother claims her daughter was drugged by the male pupils in a video released on social media, and she accuses the school administrators of a cover-up.

Chrisland Schools, which runs several private primary and secondary schools in Lagos, has denied any wrongdoing, saying it takes its duty of care seriously and would cooperate with any inquiry.

According to the school, five of the 76 pupils who attended the World School Games between March 8 and 14 participated in a game of "Truth or Dare."

It stated that the "misconduct" had been reported to their parents and that the children had been chastised by the school's rules.

However, the 10-year-mother old's claims she was not informed of the severity of the incident at first, and only learned of it later when another parent alerted her to the footage, which has since gone viral on social media.

When she questioned her daughter about what had happened, she discovered that she had been warned not to speak about it: "My daughter was dying in quiet and she couldn't speak."

According to her mother, she had been suspended from school.

"To top it off, they've now handed her a suspension letter because we've started confronting them and informing them we're aware of what happened."
