The Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCO) has launched its electronic payment platform for customers as part of measures to deliver quality customer service.

Corporate Communications Manager of NEDCO, Mr. Maxwell Kotoka disclosed this in an interview with Soiree news Nana Anfreh.
He said, “ NEDCO in collaboration with Broad-spectrum has developed an electronic platform to allow customers to buy electricity on their mobile phones”.
Mr. Maxwell Kotoka explained that with the E - payment platform, customers can buy electricity on their mobile phones by dialing *914#.
In addition, he said customers can safely pay their bills or purchase power from the safety of their momo wallets.
Mr. Kotoka further explained that the E - payment platform will help prepaid customers who run out of power at odd hours like deep in the night or while it is raining to purchase electricity through this means.
“ Again,  postpaid customers need not wait till their monthly bills have grown into huge debts”, he added.

The Cooperate Communications Manager seized the opportunity to cautioned customers against illegal connections.
He said, “any person or group of persons caught engaging in the act will deal with in accordance of the law”.
