The Sekondi High Court has today passed judgment on the Takoradi missing girls saga by sentencing the accused persons Samuel Udeotek Wills and John Orji to death by hanging in which the two have 30 days to file for an appeal.

The two Nigerians, Samuel Udoetuk Wills, and John Oji were found guilty of the crimes of kidnapping and subsequently killing the four Takoradi girls by the seven-member jury at the Sekondi High Court on Friday, March 5, 2021.

The High Court presided over by Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong, a Court of Appeal Judge with additional responsibility as a High Court judge, gave the sentence to the kidnappers to death by hanging after the 7-member jury found them guilty.

The families of the kidnapped girls after the court proceedings speaking to the media said, for them, they still have the belief that their daughters are not dead but will appear very soon as was said by the former director of CID Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo Danquah so they do not have much interest about the judgment.
