With the aim of ensuring that the grassroot members and executives of the NDC in the constitueny shared in the Christmas festive, the young Ghanaian IT programmer and Cyber Security Expert mentioned that he has taken the responsibilities to treat the grassroots and constituency executives to good food and drinks on the Christmas Eve as part of his objectives and efforts to support the members of the NDC in the grassroot levels.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com via telephone call on Thursday January 12, 2023,Mr Adu-Oduro noted that his motivation to share the items to the grassroots members and executives of the NDC was borne out of his previous challenges or experience he encountered when he was one of the polling station agents for the 2007 election at the time the NDC in opposition during the third run that brought the late former President John Evans Fifii Atta-Mills to political power.
"However having being a member of the NDC  in a good standing in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency and has gone that experience, l have noticed that the grassroot members of the NDC suffered a lot within the party so l have taken it upon myself to give these food items to them during the Christmas festive to put smile onto their faces so that they can also enjoy the season with their relatives, Mr Adu-Oduro noted.
According to Mr. William Adu-Oduro, he realized that since the party is in opposition for seven now it is important for some of them to support the grassroot members, the development which he said has informed his decision to donate the items as Christmas gift to them.
Mr. William Adu-Oduro realized that the constitueny executives and grassroot members of the NDC have fought a good fight in the interest of the party so they deserve to be commended.
