NDC Germany Chapter Zongo Caucus lead by Vice Chairman donate Relief Items to the Flood Victims in Central Tongu Constituency

The National Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the NDC Alhaji Cole Younger led a delegation to donate some food and other relief items to the Victims of Akosombo Dam Spillage in the Central Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region.

The items, which included bags of rice, cartons of cooking oil, packs of water and many others were donated through the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze on behalf of the NDC to the victims.

Even though these two, could not come down to join the delegation, the Germany Chapter Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Alhaji Tawfik Suleiman, who incidentally hails from the Constituency and Alhaji Nurudeen Abibou initiated the project as their contribution towards alleviating the plight of the Flood victims.

The delegation which included Mr. Mohamed Mamudu; Alhaji Umar Mahamud Moro, Germany Chapter Vice Chairman; Alhaji Mustaph Musah Awuni; Abdul Kadir Hussein, Ayawaso North Zongo Caucus Coordinator and Haruna Awal, Ayawaso North Vice Chairman joined the National Zongo Caucus Coordinator to make the donation.

Present at the donation ceremony were the NDC Executives for the Central Tongu Constituency, some prominent opinion leaders and Chiefs of the area.
