NDC Delegates Congress: Asiedu Nketiah  In Big Trouble! As Drivers Endorse Ampofo For NDC Chairmanship Position
Thousands of members of Concern Drivers Association of Ghana (CDAG) have publicly endorsed the incumbent National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo's re-election bid.

In a statement signed and issued by the leadership of the CDAG in the persons of
Paa Willie,Akwadaa Nyame and David Agboado and copied to the Soreenews.com, the Association called on the NDC delegates and members to vote for a chairman who stood in for drivers when he was called upon.
According to the drivers, Mr. Ampofo has been a friend to drivers and has been fighting for our interest, hence he deserves to be retained as the national chairman of the NDC.
The drivers' endorsement for the chairmanship reelection bid of Mr Ampofo was contained in the press statement to declare its position on  the significant reduction of fuel prices at the pumps.
According to the drivers, despite the reduction, transportation fares had not been reduced but broader consultation with stakeholders is still on going to look into the call for fares reduction .
They noted that although the current increment in the prices of spare parts and lubricant is making the reduction in fares almost  impossible and margin of reduction is very bad.
"We are assuring our clients that, there migth a 10% reduction in fares effective Monday 19 /12/2022," they noted.
They are cautioning drivers to drive with care and abide by all the road safety rules and regulations to enable a Christmas free accident.
