Nana Addo appoints new Chief of Defence Staff
His current position will be succeeded by Admiral Yakubu

President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Rear Admiral Seth Amoama as the new Chief of Defence Staff.
In a statement signed by the Communications Director at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin, Admiral Amoama's appointment is effective Friday, February 5th, 2020.
His current position as the Chief of Naval Staff will be succeeded by Admiral Issah Adams Yakubu on Friday, February 5th, 2020.

The appointment of the two, is pending the consultation of the yet-to-be-constituted Council of State.
