The Mid West Ghana Conference (MWGC) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) has elected new officers to manage the affairs of the conference for the next five years.

The Mid West Ghana Conference (MWGC) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) has elected new officers to manage the affairs of the conference for the next five years.

At the 3rd quadrennial session held at the Valley View University, Techiman campus at Techiman in the Bono East Region, the MWGC also elected departmental directors members of the executive committee and trustees.

The three-day session was under the theme, " I Will Go"

The “I Will Go” is the Seventh-Day Adventist Church's strategic focus for the 2020 - 2025 quinquennium.

The experience is meant to involve all church members around the world in reaching the world. The initiative is designed to inspire and equip church members to use their God. Spiritual gifts in witness and service for Christ.

The elected officers are led by Pastor Maxwell Obour Boateng Awuah also known as Pastor MOBA, President, Pastor Owusu Acheampong, Executive Secretary and Pastor Seth Wontumi Amoah, Treasure.

The Officers will work with nine departmental directors, 23 members of the executive committee and three trustees.

The newly elected President, Pastor Maxwell Obour Boateng Awuah, pledged the commitment of the new officers to work together for the collective good of the church and society.

According to him, they will allow the spirit of togetherness to lead them to promote development programmes and evangelism.

He also charged the various congregations within the conference to support the new officers in the discharge of their duties.
