Today Saturday, July 16, 2022, a leading contestant of the General  Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Iddrisu Musah popularly known as Musah Superior is likely expected to win the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) general scribe's election.
Research conducted by the Soireenews.com Research Bureau tilted Musah Superior to be named the winner after the polls.
The results of the NPP National Executive officers elections were predicted by the Soireenews.com Research Bureau to favour Mr Musah who doubles as the current Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Forestry Commission (FC) under the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.
The  Soireenews.com sources' at the national headquarters of the party in Accra had predicted that the former mayor of Tamale would defeat his contestants in the polls by winning eleven (11) out of the 16 regions and obtaining a very sizable number of votes in the remaining regions.
The regions that was tipped for Mr Musah includes Northern, Upper West, Upper East, Bono East, Ahafo, Ashanti, Central, Western, Volta, Western North and Oti Region, the stronghold of incumbent General Secretary of the NPP, Mr John Boadu was also strong in five regions.
The other candidates were strong in the remaining three (3) regions in Ghana.
The total number of delegates for the election would be 990.
The sample size of 660(2/3) delegate population that would cast a vote for the National Youth Organizer on July 16, 2022, was used in the research.
Without bias or favour, 648 delegates who were eligible to vote were questioned.
As a result, the results reflect what could actually occur on election day.
Delegates took into account the candidates’ qualifications, skills, and dedication to working with youngsters.
It was during this discussion that Mr Musah who is a foundation member of the NPP NPP Pope was selected as the election’s overall winner since the candidates with the best messages were thought to benefit both themselves and the party as a whole.
According to some of the delegates, they think the current Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen will be the next flagbearer for the NPP coming 2024 general elections so they think voting for Mr Musah who hails from the Northern Region will not help the party to break eight rule cycle.
Others also used regional balance for the reason to vote for Mr Musah as the new General Secretary.
Most of the delegates said the party needs those candidates with experience in order to break the eight (8) year jinx and they think Mr Musah is the only candidate who can attain the position of the NPP General Secretary.
The scores of the delegates told Soireenews. com that they were touched with the strong campaign messages of Mr Musah to lead NPP as General Secretary to ensure the provision of GH¢ 10.000.00 business development capital package for each of four thousand, six hundred and seventy five (4,675) NPP constituency executive in two hundred and seventy five constituencies (275) in the country.
They pointed out they realized that Mr Musah who is the number four position on the ballot paper believed that Mr Musah would surely establish a viable Business Development Unit within the NPP to give business support to the hard working members of the party, particularly those in the grassroot levels country when "we vote for him massively to win the slot."
According to them, Mr Musah has what it takes to set up effective Business Development Unit of the party which would serve as one of the NPP grassroot members empowerment initiatives
