Ghanaian comic actor, Mr. Beautiful has openly declared his support for the NDC despite stern warnings from veteran actress Maame Dokono.

It was earlier reported that Maame Dokono strongly advised all entertainers to stay away from party politics due to the huge disadvantages that it presents in the long run.

“If the party you join loses, you will lose everything and then you will be sidelined by producers in the movie fraternity, and if you are in the movie industry, those doing movies will not use you because they will say people will not buy their product; they will avoid you," she expertly admonished.

Mr. Beautiful, against this, has openly come out to declare that nothing can stop him from giving his support to former President Mahama, and the NDC. He has been a prime example of the downsides of engaging in party politics as he has been missing in action after the NDC's defeat in the 2016 elections.

The actor has apparently not learned his lesson after revealing that he has no regrets pitching his tent with the NDC  in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

"Many people think that because I have been silent and off the public scene for some time, I am abandoning Mahama and the NDC this time around, but that's not it all. I am ever ready to battle with my sweat and blood."

According to the comedian, the NPP in the last 4 years has performed badly in the creative arts industry.

"This is not about Mr. Beautiful and his love for Mahama, but it is glaring that Mahama and the NDC administration performed better for the arts than the NPP has done in the last four years."

"You can find out from Maame Dokono. Mahama made donations to her last week. I'm not just talking but providing evidence as well,"
