Minority Leader of Parliament counted in the ongoing Population and Housing Census

The Minority leader Hon. Haruna Iddrisu on his part said citizens must partake and give actual information to enumerators who will approach them for their information.

The Minority Leader of Parliament, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu has been counted in the ongoing Population and Housing Census

Northern Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul-Salam Ahamed, Regional Minister, Hon. Shani Alhassan Saibu and the Minority leader, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has been registered in the ongoing Population and Housing Census in the Northern regional capital, Tamale on Monday morning. 
 
The Population and Housing Census is a national exercise that happens every decade to count citizens and properties to help developmental plans in the country.

The Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul-Salam speaking to Journalists after registering said, the exercise is very important to the country therefore, all should join for the betterment of the country.

Regional chief Imam called on all Muslims in the region and the country at large should participate fully with their families to help the Muslim communities. 

The Minority leader, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu on his part said citizens must partake and give actual information to enumerators who will approach them for their information.

He urged Ghanaians to give accurate information to help the country. 

The Northern Regional Director of Ghana Statistical Service, Mr. George Agbenyo addressing the media said, since these important personalities have availed them to be registered, it tells how important the exercise is, therefore, every citizen of the country should partake.
