Behind the scenes, however, these artists deal with a variety of personal and professional challenges that can negatively impact their wellbeing.

It is for this reason that gospel singer Mavis Asante is requesting extra prayers for herself and her coworkers since they constantly deal with pressures that they are unable to share with the public.

"I sincerely ask that you all remember gospel musicians in your prayers; after all, we are also people. We will always need your support and prayers since gospel artists are under enormous pressure, particularly from hard schedules, the ongoing demand to offer inspirational content, and the difficulties of juggling personal and professional life.

Mavis Asante, who has been absent from the music world for a while, is getting ready to make a comeback in October of this year with a new single.

She also expressed alarm about the gospel music industry's expanding indecent dress trend.

Mavis Asante, who is now a reverend preacher, made an ardent call for gospel singers to dress modestly, emphasizing that the soul of the genre lay not only in its melodies and lyrics but also in how artists present themselves to the audience.

Gospel musicians are spiritual ambassadors and a channel for heavenly inspiration, not just performers. And just as the message should be sacred, so too should the delivery vehicle.

Dressing modestly doesn't mean hiding one's personality; rather, it means making sure that our external demeanor reflects the respect and humility we have for the message we share, according to the speaker.
