John Dramani Mahama Accuses Akufo-Addo For Appointing Cronies To The Judiciary  To Avoid Being Held Accountable When He  Leaves Office

Mahama Drops  Another Bombshell On Akufo-Addo's Judicial Cartels
FLAGBEARER of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who doubles as Former President John Dramani Mahama has dropped another bombshell by revealing a fresh details on how President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed huge of his cronies to the strategical position at the Judicial Service of Ghana.

He stated that they are very much aware that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government of President Akufo-Addo has deliberately appointed his cronies as the judges to the bench in order for them to do his bidding when he is out of office.

According to him, the pieces of evidence available to the NDC clearly shows that the current President has appointed these judges  who are known NPP gurus, ostensibly  to avoid being held accountable when he leaves office.
"We can see in the move by the government of the under President Akufo-Addo to pack the Judicial Service of Ghana with NPP-inclined judges because this government has carried out a deliberate policy of putting their people onto the bench.”

“He has appointed the biggest number of judges onto the bench, it is more than 80 towards 100 and counting. You can see what the current president has done. President Akufo-Addo has packed the court, and we know they have packed the court because they want to avoid accountability after they have left office,” Former President dropped this bombshell when he was addressing the lawyers of the NDC.

Addressing the NDC Lawyers Conference, the visibly worried Mahama entreated NDC members to take up careers on the bench in order to “balance out” the judiciary.

“So, I encourage some of you to look at careers on the bench so that we can balance out what the current situation is. We must be prepared as NDC legal persons to also go onto the bench so that we can balance out the judiciary,” he told the NDC lawyers at the conference.
