Since the group's founding almost ten years ago, the Lipstick Queens have been on the rise. Respected for providing a diverse range of musical styles, including Highlife, Funk, Reggae, Afrobeat, R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Latin, music enthusiasts have savored the band's adaptability at exclusive private and business gatherings as well as some of the biggest live music venues in the country.

So, fans can anticipate nothing less than an amazing performance from the all-female band on Friday.

The group's keyboard player, Sita Korley, told Graphic Showbiz that since March is typically recognized as Ghana Month, all of the songs they play at the performance will be exclusively Ghanaian. She asked everyone attending the show to wear something that reflected Ghanaian culture.

"We will combine some of the various stages that Highlife has gone through over the years, as well as content from ET Mensah's reign, the King of Highlife. Those who want to hear our songs live for the first time shouldn't miss the performance because we'll also be playing a few from our future album," she said.

The members of the band are Ruby Nunoo and Abigail Tetteh on lead vocals, Sita Korley on keyboards, Abena Pomaa on guitar, Winifred Thompson on bass, and Abigail Aniapam on drums. Vida "Manye 1" Ofoli plays percussion and flute.

The girls feel that since they are currently one of the most popular outfits in Ghanaian music, it is time to show the public some love as well.

They would be at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra from approximately 10:00 am on the day of the event, ready to socialize with the people and provide food, water, and soft drinks before the event in the evening.
