Parliamentary candidate for Ashaiman Constituency, Mr. Tony Afenyo has hinted that to ensure that in order to remain united after primaries, campaigns must be devoid of acrimonious comments. This, according to him, will safeguard the sanctity of the party towards victory 2024.

Mr. Tony Afenyo made the admonition at the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Regional Office after a successful vetting process.

According Mr. Afenyo, the NDC belongs to everybody therefore no individual should prevent any aspirant from campaigning and if no obstruction is placed on anyone's way, then there can be peace to rally for victory 2024.

Commenting on his number 2 position on the ballot, he said it is an indicatiion of victory therefore pledging to rally his vociferous support base for an NDC common purpose. He debunked allegations of inaccuracies of information on his CV which matter he said had been sorted out. "NDC is bigger than our individual parochial interest. We want NDC to go into this primaries without insult to one another, without the kind of acrimony we have towards one another so that we can come out of the presidential primaries peacefully otherwise, we will cry", he cautioned. " I am calling on all stakeholders to be free and fair because the money that is being spent is huge therefore any unfair treatment may have the tendency to spoil good things", he further admonished.
