Lady killed by footballer at Ho laid to rest
The deceased, Harriet Kafui Hiatsi was stabbed many times by her boyfriend, a footballer called Jay after 'baseless accusations' of cheating.

25-years-old Harriet Kafui Hiatsi who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend has been laid to rest.
Hundreds of sympathisers, friends, family members, church members and residents from Ho and its environs gathered at a community cemetery in Agortime Kpetoe to pay their last respect to the late Kafui Harriet Hiatsi, the lady who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, ay Dodoye last month.
The suspect, a popular football player at Ho has been under medical treatment at the Ho Teaching Hospital receiving treatment since the incident happened.
On Wednesday, April 21, 2021 whiles the family mourned the late Kafui Harriet Hiatsi and prepared for her burial at her hometown, Kpetoe, the suspect also appeared before the Ho magistrate court for his prosecution.
Speaking to the uncle of the deceased, Mr Bright Hiatsi, he commiserated that Kafui was humble and had a very fulfilling and promising future before her untimely death.
Mr Bright Hiatsi called on the Security Service for a thorough investigation and justice without delay.
Speaking to the Police Public Relations Officer, Srgt Prince Dogbetsey, the suspect will appear before the court again on May 5, 2021.
He is currently in the custody of the Police.
