A Presidential Candidate hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr, Kojo Bonsu, has joined thousands of Muslim community for the Ashanti Regional Mauled in Kumasi to observe the birthday celebration of the Prophet Mohammed over the weekend.


The former mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has also ended the weekend by worshipping with the Calvery Christian Centre (CCC) for a thanksgiving service in Kumasi.

The workaholic Kojo Bonsu used the two religious ceremonies to pray for the success of the Ghanaians as well the nation as a whole.

Speaking in an interview with journalists, Mr Bonsu admonished Muslims and Christians particularly their youths not to repeat the past mistakes.

He stressed the need for the Muslim and Christian youths to be more respectable, humble and honest since we entered into another new year.

He added that the youths of this country need to demonstrate humility and honesty in their transactions.

He issued a stern warning to youths who plan to disturb the peace during and after the 2024 general elections.

He indicated his commitment to devise efforts to encourage Ghanaians to make good use of their potential and avoid violence are in progress.
