Kevin Taylor Reacts to Nana Yaa Brefo Joining Media General

Angel FM hired Nana Yaa Brefo till December 1, 2023.

She claims that she quit Angel FM due to the cowardice of her former supervisor, Doctor Kwaku Oteng, rather than financial gain.

She said that because of his timidity, Doctor Kwaku Oteng had prevented her from accomplishing a lot of things.

She expressed her desire to work so hard that, at the end of the day, she could satisfy her supervisors, her listeners, and herself, but she was never given the chance to do so.

She says that although she intended to discuss some current events on her platform, her boss, Doctor Kwaku Oteng, never gave her permission.

She continued by saying that there were moments when she really wanted to connect with her audience, but her supervisor had made that hard as well.

On February 1, 2024, she started working at Media General.

The parent company of several media outlets, including 3news.com, Onua TV, Onua FM, and TV3 Ghana, declared on social media that Nana Yaa Brefo had become the new media personality that had joined the Media General.

Since the information was shared on Onua TV's social media accounts, it was assumed that Nana Yaa Brefo was joining the network. However, the release included no details on Nana Yaa Brefo's actual role at Onua TV. Onua TV shared a flier welcome Nana Yaa Brefo to Media General on their official Instagram page, along with a caption.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the amazing @nanayaabrefo to the MG family ????Welcome to the great family!“

Reacting to this, Kelvin Taylor has said that there is no sense in Media General signing the media personality to Onua FM.

Kelvin Taylor did not state precisely what was wrong with the signing, he just went to his official page to write “Onua Fm nso tumi y3 nkwasia signing paa ooo”.
