Kuami Eugene has confessed that he also is also guilty of not supporting others.

This comes when he was criticised for being a hypocrite after accusing Ghanaian artistes of not supporting each other.

He had earlier said that Ghanaian musicians fail to genuinely support their fellows and upcoming artistes.

According to him, they hardly share the links and cover arts of studio projects of other musicians on their social media pages.

At best they would share the song or music artwork on their Instagram story which vanishes after 24 hours and when they decide to share on their Instagram feed, they refuse to tag the original artiste thinking it will increase his or her followers on social media, he accused.

Eugene was immediately called out by other artists, who accused him of being a loudmouth that does not practise what he preaches.

The high life artiste, however, revealed that he's had a change of mind and his call for artists to support each other was also a self call, to remind himself to do what is right.

He said this while speaking to DJ Advicer on the Ayekoo After Drive show on Happy 98.9FM.

“I am pained that only a few people really listened to what I said. What I said is currently, what we are facing is because the upcoming ones did not support what others are already doing and it is continuing. I did not take myself out. I used the pronoun ‘we’ meaning I am also part. So when I say we don’t really support when it comes to pushing a fellow artist, I am part.

"Some people have many followers but they don’t post others. After I said this I started posting people’s works on my pages because I cannot criticize and still continue in such an attitude. I needed to start supporting everybody that released a song that week. I wasn’t saying I am better than everybody,” he claimed.
