Former Bono Ahafo Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Mr. Alfred Ofori Annie has advised the leadership of the ruling party to think deeply and build the legacy of Prof. Kofi Abrefah Busia.

Mr. Alfred Ofori Annie who is currently Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Produce Buying Company ( PBC) Limited., explained that lack of respect, no love, lack of unity, backbiting, pettiness, lack of transparency, and power struggling is making them abusive in their actions.

The former Bono Ahafo Regional Secretary, comments follow recent confusion in the party in some constituencies in regards to the polling stations' executive elections application forms.

“There is an undue concern for trivial issues among the rank and file of the party.  Sometimes certain issues can be dealt with immediately but because they do not show leadership it escalates”, he emphasized.
He said, “though jealousy is inevitable when jealousy turns more than a little bit, it turns evil, people do not think before they talk and they do not look before they leap”.

He thus charged the leadership of the ruling party to organize a meeting involving all the stakeholders of the party to include former MPs, constituency executive, council of elders, electoral area Coordinators, the MM/DCEs, former executive of party, polling stations executive, aspirants and any other individuals whom the executive may deem necessary.

This he is optimistic will offer the stakeholders the opportunity to share ideas for the party's progress.

He, therefore, charges leadership and party members to resolve their determination and commitment is to move
 the party forward.

In addition, he called on the polling stations' elections committee to take up their responsibility of what is to be done.
