Renown journalist and former Presidential candidate in the 2011 election, Mr. Dele Momodu says he has decided to give most of his income to the poor as Jesus said in the Bible that the rich should sell their riches and give to the poor.

The millionaire journalist made the vow on Sunday in a Twitter post after he received heart-melting thank you messages from those he sent money as a form of palliatives.

One of the messages read, “I Adefenwa Olamilekan Idris of Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu-Remo show my heartfelt gratitude to Chief Dele Momodu as a beneficiary of his #5000 support to WAEC students. I pray God continues to bless you and your family.

"Another warm appreciation to brother Lawal Adetayo through which I got the support, may God bless you to sir.”

Responding to the thank you message, Mr. Momodu stated that he has been motivated and will do more to help those in need.

“When JESUS said the rich should sell off their riches and offer to the poor, I now understand better. I feel so fulfilled and ready to give most of my income to the poor, expecting nothing but only PRAYERS in return, and will encourage my friends to join me… GOD HELP ME,” prayed Momodu.
