I’m Not Close To Shatta Wale’s Level - Medikal

Medikal has respectfully bowed out of the superstar conversation.

According to him, everyone knows that he is nowhere near the level of artists like Shatta Wale.

Even though he has plans to surpass them with the help of his fans, it would be lies to suggest that he is already a superstar, he admitted.

The hip-hop artiste noted that a person has to get a specific number of achievements before he can beat the superstar tag; achievements that he has not attained.

Until he achieves those goals can he be called a superstar.

“I’ve not even achieved one per cent of my goals,”

“I’m about to start. That’s why I’ll need your help to reach the level God wants me to get."

While speaking to Fiifi Pratt in an interview on Kingdom FM he noted that only a handful of superstars exist in Ghana.

“Of course, we have superstars in Ghana. Shatta Wale is one of them, I’m not even close to his level."

“It’s good that some people consider me to be a superstar but I just want you to understand that I have loads of work that I’m supposed to touch and get to a certain level that I want to get but I’m nowhere near superstar,” He explained.

Medikal, who has been low-key since tying the knot with Fella Makafui, stated that until he gets to where God wants him to, he wouldn’t describe himself as a superstar.
