IGP Order For Investigation into Misconduct of Begoro Police 

The Police Administration off late is receiving some public confidence since the take over of Dr Dampare ascended the seat, and has ordered for investigation into an allegation of misconduct contained in audio circulating on social media involving some police officers in Begoro District Police Command.

A statement issued on Friday, August 27, 2021, said “the Police Administration has intercepted an audiotape involving some personnel of the Begoro District Police Command of alleged gross misconduct and has since directed the Eastern Regional Police Command to investigate the matter and report” 

The statement said any officer found culpable will be dealt with according to the disciplinary measures of the Police service.

The Acting IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare led Police Administration seems to be reviving public confidence in the police service as swift actions are taken to deal with the unprofessional conduct of officers.
