Ghanaian gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, has admitted that he would consider being an ordained pastor if God wills it so for him.

The multiple award-winning artistes said he would gladly accept the role from his creator but it is not something he'll rush towards or try to take for himself without God's blessings.

According to Joe Mettle, becoming a minister of God takes more than just blindly going into it because of the spiritual nature of the position. He explained that a lot of prayers need to be offered to generate spiritual stamina even after being called by God as one will need it to acquire the needed instructions to proceed in his pastoral journey.

He said that although he's also doing the Lord's work as a gospel singer, his position should not be mistaken for that of a proper man of God, as it takes a lot more than just beautiful vocal chords to become one.

Joe Mettle, who just recently called for the restructuring of the Copyrights Office to ensure musicians get the best from their work, told Sokoohemaa Kukua on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that men of God are ordained by God, but anyone can take the microphone to sing.

He finally concluded by reiterating that he will never say no if and when the time comes for him to be ordained as a minister of God.
