Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has cried out after claiming she and her team of volunteers were attacked by Nigerians when they set out to make donations in some parts of Lagos.

Tonto Dikeh revealed on her Instagram story that she and her team nearly lost their lives as they were almost killed by the same people they had reached out to give them food and water.

The mother of one decried the level of hunger in the country as due to starvation her team members and she were at risk of losing their lives because of the aggression the hungry people demonstrated during the sharing of the items.

 

 

The actress has therefore apologized to her team and advised others who would want to share with the vulnerable in these trying times to consult the authorities first before doing so.

Tonto Dikeh’s kid’s foundation in their quest to help needy families and individuals hit by the Coronavirus lockdown has reached out to 2000 Nigerian kids with food, water and other items amid COVID-19 pandemic.
